New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a fairytale wedding in December last year at Umaid Bhawan, Jodhpur. The couple got married in the presence their loved ones and their wedding hogged all the limelight. The ‘Quantico’ actress recently returned back to India to attend her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding with his fiancée Ishita Kumar. After Nickyanka’s grand wedding, the Chopra clan was busy preparing for Siddharth’s special day.

The wedding was rumoured to take place in the last week of April; however, it got cancelled few days before the scheduled date. Priyanka and Siddharth’s mother Madhu Chopra confirmed that the wedding was mutually called off but she didn’t reveal the reason behind it.

For the uninitiated, Siddharth and Ishita had their roka ceremony on February 27 and Priyanka even shared pictures from the function on social media. PeeCee welcomed Ishita into the family by sharing a post on Instagram.

Ishita has deleted all the pictures from the roka ceremony on her Instagram handle.  She posted a cryptic post on Instagram with the caption that read, ‘’cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings.’’ Her mom and dad had commented on the photo.

“Close old book and write new story,” her mother Nidhi Kumar wrote.
