Kartik can be seen saying the dialogue, "Biwi se sex maang lein, toh hum bhikaari. Biwi ko sex mana kar dein, toh hum atyachaari aur kisi tarah jugaad laga ke uss se sex haasil kar lein na toh balaatkaari bhi hum hain (If we ask our wives for sex then we are beggars, if we deny them sex then we’re torturers, and if in case we coerce them into having sex with us, we’re labeled as rapists)," in the trailer of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’.
Bhumi Pednekar, who plays the role of Vedika in the film, apologized for the controversial dialogue in the trailer. The ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ actress, while talking to a portal, said that the makers had no intention of hurting anybody’s sentiments.
“If we have hurt anybody’s sentiments, we are sorry, because that wasn’t the intention. But everybody who is involved in Pati Patni Aur Woh, does not belong to that school, does not belong to that thought process,” Bhumi told Zoom TV.
Speculations are rife that the makers have decided to edit out the controversial dialogue from the film. However, they are yet to confirm the same.
‘Pati Patni Patni Aur Who’, which is the remake of the 1978 film of the same name, also stars Aparshakti Khurana. The comedy drama will hit the silver screens on December 6.
