National-award-winning Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is back to entertain fans with her latest release 'Panga' directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Featuring Punjabi singer-actor Jassie Gill opposite Kangana, 'Panga' has received favourable reviews from critics however the much-awaited film started on a slow note by collecting Rs. 2.70 crore on first day. However, 'Panga' has witnessed an excellent growth on the second day of its release despite facing stiff competition from Remo D'Souza directed 'Street Dancer 3D' featuring Varun Dhawan & Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.


On Saturday (January 25), the film has collected Rs. 5.61 Crore thereby making the grand total to Rs. 8.31 crore.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film's second day box office collection on Twitter. He wrote, "#Panga flies high on Day 2... Glowing word of mouth has come into play... 'Panga' needs another huge jump today (January 26) to cover the lost ground and Republic Day holiday will surely benefit the film at the box-office.

Speaking further about 'Panga', the film revolves around the struggle of Kangana's character Jaya who is a forgotten Kabaddi champion and wishes to make her comeback in the game post marriage and motherhood.
