'Panga' Box Office Collection Day 1: Kangana Ranaut's Film Starts On A Slow Note
Kangana Ranaut's critically acclaimed film 'Panga' couldn't set the box office on fire on its opening day.
New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut’s much-awaited film ‘Panga’, which hit the silver screens on January 24, has received rave reviews from the critics and fans. The sports drama co-starring Jassie Gill, Neena Gupta and Richa Chaddha couldn’t set the box office on fire on its opening day. The film started on a dull note and minted a total of Rs 2.70 crore on first day.
‘Panga’ is expected to perform on day two and three, owing to the positive word-of-the-mouth publicity. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of ‘Panga’ on Twitter. He mentioned that the film picked up pace in the evening shows at selected multiplexes.

“#Panga records a low total on Day 1... Gathered momentum towards evening shows at select multiplexes, but occupancy at multiplexes of Tier-2 and 3 cities remained dull... Strong word of mouth should ensure growth on Day 2 and 3... Fri ₹ 2.70 cr. #India biz,” Adarsh wrote on the micro-blogging site.
'Panga' clashed with 'Street Dancer 3D' at the box office as both the films released on January 24. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Street Dancer' released across 3700 screens in India while 'Panga' is playing in 1450 screens across the country.#Panga records a low total on Day 1...
