New Delhi: Sanjana Sanghi, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Dil Bechara' opposite late Sushant Singh Rajput, has bagged her second big project. The newbie actress will be seen romancing Aditya Roy Kapur in 'Om: The Battle Within'. The upcoming film, to be directed by Kapil Verma, will hit the silver screens in the second half of December 2021. The producers made an official announcement about the flick on Monday (November 23).

Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to inform the fans that 'Om: The Battle Within' will be filmed in three Indian cities and one foreign location. He tweeted, "ADITYA ROY KAPUR - SANJANA SANGHI... #SanjanaSanghi to star opposite #AdityaRoyKapur in #Om: The Battle Within... Directed by Kapil Verma... Produced by Zee Studios, Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan... Will be shot in three cities in #India and one international location."



Sanjana Sanghi played the role of Kizie Basu in Mukesh Chhabra's 'Dil Bechara'. The romantic drama is the Hindi adaptation of John Green's Novel 'The Fault in our Stars'. 'Dil Bechara', which premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, was made available for free viewing as it was Sushant Singh Rajput's last film.



Talking about Aditya Roy Kapur, the 'Aashiqui 2' actor's recent film 'Ludo' released on Netflix. The Anurag Basu directorial also stars Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Asha Negi.

Aditya's previous release 'Sadak 2' received scathing reviews from the critics and fans. The movie co-starring Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt also premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar in August 2020. Kapur will be seen together with Sanghi for the first time on the silver screen.



'Om: The Battle Within', which will be produced by Zee Studios, Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan, will go on floors from next month.
