New Delhi: Actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, who tied the knot on June 9, have been blessed with twins. Vignesh took to social media to share the good news with their fans.
Vignesh posted a series of pictures and wrote, “Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa ❤️We are blessed with Twin Baby Boys❤️❤️ All Our prayers,our ancestors’ blessings combined wit all the good manifestations made, have come 2gethr in the form Of 2 blessed babies for us❤️😇 Need all ur blessings for our Uyir😇 & Ulagam😇 Life looks brighter & more beautiful 😍 God is double great 🥰❤️☺️😇😍😍😌😌😌😌”
Earlier in September, Vignesh celebrated his first birthday after marriage and Nayanthara surprised the director by organising a birthday party beneath the world-renowned Dubai landmark, Burj Khalifa.
Taking to Instagram, Vignesh had shared pictures of his birthday celebration and wrote,"A birthday filled with pure love from a loving family! Awesome surprise by my wife, my thangam -- a dreamy birthday below Burj Khalifa with all my lovely people with me ! Can't get better and more special than this! Always thanking God for all the lovely moments he gives me in this blessed life!"
Nayanthara also took to Twitter to wish her husband and wrote, "Happiest birthday to the Super special Vignesh Shivan! Stay Blessed always!"
She had also posted a video clip of the birthday celebrations of her husband. The clip showed a close group of family members and friends clapping to the beats of a song being played even as the camera zoomed in on three cakes, each of which had lighted candles on it.
The two fell in love while filming Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015. Their wedding in June was held at the Sheraton Grand in Mahabalipuram. Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Suriya and a large number of other celebrities, including the director Mani Ratnam, were in attendance at the wedding.
Their wedding has also been documented for a Netflix special titled ‘Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.’
