Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who has been making the headlines for quite some time for his troubled personal life once again finds his name dragged in controversy.

This time his niece has alleged sexual harassment by his uncle ( Nawaz's brother) and filed a complaint at the Jamia police station in Delhi. In a copy of her complaint it was written, 'I have filed a complaint about sexual harassment by my uncle when I was nine years old. My parents were divorced when I was two years old, so I had a stepmother. I was tortured a lot...' She further stated that she didn't receive any support from her bade papa Nawazuddin Siddiqui as he never believed her.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s niece currently stays in Delhi with her husband.

When ABP News got in touch with Nawaz's niece, she shared some horrific details of her ordeal she faced in family.
While talking to our correspondent Ravi Jain, she said, "it all started from their paternal home in Budhna when she was just 9 year old, her uncle use to touch her inappropriately and no one use to believe her including Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She also told her grand mother and father about the same but they too turned deaf years and her harassment by accused uncle continued till she turned 18. In-fact even at her bua's(paternal aunt) place in Dehradoon and at their home in Delhi his uncle continued the torture." She further added, " It was in the year 2017, when the accused tried to form a sexual relation forcefully, this time she was also hit hard and suffered severe injuries of which she still have proof."

She went on to add that she never got support from anyone in family, and when she got married too after this case, her family was against it as it was a love marriage. However, her husband stood by her and she's now getting full support from him.
