FRESH PICS: Shahrukh Khan and Nawazuddin from the sets of Raees
The film, slated to release on June 24, is inspired by Raman Raghav, also known as Psycho Raman, a psychopathic serial killer who terrorised the streets of Mumbai in the mid-1960s.
Nawazuddin says it was a challenge for him to play the role perfectly as it is a tricky character. "The challenge was if I could do it perfectly. It is not a normal character. He has his own philosophies, thoughts.
There are many things in our society which we think is wrong but for him it is right," he added. "To go inside such a brain is very difficult. You can do justice to such a character only if you believe in this theory," Nawazuddin added.
