New Delhi: On the occasion of Doctor’s Day 2020, Bollywood celebs including Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Vicky Kaushal and Sonakshi Sinha expressed their gratitude to the doctors and health care professionals, who are working round the clock amid the COVID-19 crisis. The tinsel town celebs paid tribute to the frontline workers for their relentless service to humanity.

Madhuri Dixit, last seen in ‘Kalank’, shared a video and said, “our doctors and health care workers are real-life super heroes.” Bollywood’s Dhak-Dhak girl asked her fans to join her in thanking them for their selfless service.

“This year more than ever we need to appreciate & support our doctors & healthcare workers for their endless hours of hard work, dealing with stress & challenges as part of their job & staying away from their loved ones to serve the people in need. Thank you,” Madhuri wrote.



Salman Khan, who will be next seen in 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai', thanked the doctors for being 'the strongest pillars' of our country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Aaj #DoctorsDay hai, meri taraf se saare doctors ko dil se shukriya. Aapke dedication, or aapke sacrifices k liye! Thank you for being the strongest pillars of our country in this pandemic!," the 'Bigg Boss' host tweeted.



Vicky Kaushal shared a video on his Instagram story to salute the doctors for putting their lives at risk and treating the Coronavirus patients. "During these difficult times of COVID-19, we are even more grateful to our doctor and medical workers. Along with the other frontline workers, they are the soldiers in this war against this pandemic,” Kaushal said.



Sonakshi Sinha, last seen in ‘Dabangg 3’, penned a poem to salute the contribution of the doctors in our life.



Randeep Hooda tweeted, "A mask a day keeps the doctor away .. let’s help our frontline warriors who are relentless in their fight to protect us by taking all precautions and reduce the load on them .. to our doctors on #DoctorsDay .. Salute!"



"It's very difficult to be a doctor , very easy to criticize. Happy doctors day to all who are still working day & night to serve us," veteran actress Hema Malini wrote on the micro-blogging site.
