New Delhi: The sudden demise of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor has left the entire film industry in a state of shock. It’s quite hard to accept that the two Bollywood gems have left for their heavenly abode. While the country was mourning the loss of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor on Thursday, some reports on the internet suggested that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has been hospitalised.

Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah had squashed all the rumours on Twitter. The ‘Happy New Year’ actor said that his father is ‘keeping well’. He mourned the death of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor and offered condolences to their family.

“All well everyone! Baba's just fine. All the rumours about his health are fake. He's keeping well Folded hands Praying for Irfan Bhai and Chintu ji. Missing them a lot. Deepest condolences to their families. Our hearts go out to all of them. It's a devastating loss for all of us,” Vivaan wrote on the micro-blogging site.

"He''s absolutely fine, and is observing lockdown with my aunt Ratna in Mumbai, it is fake news," Naseeruddin’s niece Saira Shah Halim told IANS.

Saira further told the news agency that her father Lieutenant General Zameer Uddin Shah spoke to the ‘A Wednesday’ actor and he was assured that the veteran actor is hale and healthy.

On the professional front, Naseeruddin Shah was last seen in ‘Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi’.
