New Delhi: Naga Chaitanya celebrates his birthday today (November 23) and to mark the occasion, the makers of his upcoming film ‘Custody’ have released the first-look of the film.
Director of the film Venkat Prabhu took to Twitter to share the first look and wrote, “Let’s be the change we want to see in the world! Happy bday bro @chay_akkineni let the hunt begin! #Custody #AvenkatPrabhuHunt”
The poster shows Chaitanya as a cop with bruises on his face. He is surrounded by cops who have guns pointed at him. “You must be the change, you wish to see in the world,” reads the caption on the poster. A badge that he is wearing reveals that his character’s name is A Shiva.
‘Custody’ is Tamil-Telugu bilingual film and Chaitanya’s first Tamil film in full-fledged role. The film also stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead. Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sampath Raj, Sarathkumar, Premgi, Vennela Kishore and Premi Vishwanath are part of the cast. The film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi and presented by Pavan Kumar.
The film is also Venkat Prabhu’s first Telugu film as a director.
This is for the first time that music composer Ilaiyaraaja is composing the music for this film in collaboration with his son and hit music director Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Recently in a conversation with Pinkvillla, Kirthi Shetty talked about collaborating with Naga Chaitanya for the second time. "We will be starting the shoot next month probably. I'm extremely excited to work with him because now that we have already worked together and I know how chill it is to work with him, I'm definitely looking forward to it. Plus, people have also seemed to like our pair quite a bit...I think we should give the people another nice film,” she was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
Kirthi Shetty and Naga Chaitanya have earlier worked together in the 2022 film 'Bangarraju'.
