New Delhi: 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao is performing decently at the box office. The film has collected Rs. 1 cr on Wednesday. Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, 'Mr & Mrs. Mahi' released on May 31.


As per trade analysis site, Sacnilk.com 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' collected Rs. 1.75 cr as per early estimates. As of now, 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' has collected around Rs. 22.60 cr. The film is yet to break its opening day figure of Rs. 6.75 cr. The film's lowest collection was on Day 5, with Rs. 1.85 cr. On Monday as well, the film's collection saw a dip, when it earned Rs. 2.15 cr.


As per film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' is holding steady on Day 6. Sharing the film's collection on Twitter, he wrote, "#MrAndMrsMahi is super-steady on Day 6… With no *major* film/s arriving this Friday, #MrAndMrsMahi has a strong chance of posting a good score in Weekend 2. [Week 1] Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 4.65 cr, Sun 5.62 cr, Mon 2.21 cr, Tue 1.86 cr, Wed 1.90 cr. Total: ₹ 23.09 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice."


 






The film also had an overall Hindi occupancy of 11.31% on Wednesday.


About Mr & Mrs Mahi


The film has been directed by Sharan Sharma. The cricket drama revolves around a couple and their passion for cricket. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as Mahima, a doctor, who becomes a cricketer on the behest of her husband, Mahendra, played by Rajkummar Rao. 


Rajkummar Rao also becomes her coach and helps her find her true passion. The film also stars Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mirshra, and Zarina Wahab among others. The film also marks a second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Sharan after 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'.
