Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey took to social media to inform his fans that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The ‘Mirzapur’ star shared a post on his official Instagram handle, requesting the people who came in contact with him to undergo a Coronavirus test. He urged his followers to step out of home, only if necessary.
Vikrant said that he contracted Coronavirus despite taking necessary precautions while shooting for his new project. He didn’t mention the name of his project for which he was shooting. The 'Balika Vadhu' star shared a health update and revealed that he is doing fine. He added that he is taking the prescribed medications and required rest after testing positive for the virus.
"Despite necessary precautions on shoot, I have tested COVID positive. In self-quarantine. Requesting all those who''ve come in close contact with me in the last few days, to get yourself tested, ASAP. I''m taking the prescribed medications and adequate rest and currently doing fine. Urging everyone to do the basics right and step out of your homes, only if necessary,” Massey’s post read.
Massey tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the festival of Holi 2021.
On the professional front, Vikrant will be next seen in 'Haseen Dillruba'. The film co-starring Taapsee Pannu will premiere on Netflix. He also has '14 Phere', 'Mumbaikar' and 'Love Hostel' in pipeline.
Bollywood Celebs Who Recently Tested COVID-19 Positive
The likes of Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Bajpayee, Satish Kaushik, R Madhavan, Milind Soman have recently tested positive for COVID-19. Ranbir Kapoor, who contracted the virus earlier this month, has recovered. His uncle Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news while talking to PTI.
Tara Sutaria also shared a post to inform her fans that she had tested negative for Coronavirus. She didn't respond the rumours which suggested that she was diagnosed with the virus.
