Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account and revealed that he has asked the producers of 'Housefull 4' to cancel the film's shoot until further investigation in the sexual harassment controversy against director Sajid Khan. He further added that, he will not work with any proven offenders.

He wrote, "I've just landed back in the country last night and reading all the news has been very disturbing. I've requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation. This is something that requires stringent action. I will not work with any proven offenders and all those who have been subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve."

Sajid Khan is not the first celeb who has been accused of sexual misconduct. #MeToo in India started recently when actress Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during the shoot of 2008 film 'Horn OK Please'. After which, other women too came forward and shared their harassment stories on social media and accused known names like Rajat Kapoor, Vikas Bahl, Alok Nath, Subhash Ghai among others.

Interestingly, Nana Patekar is also a part of Sajid Khan's 'Housefull 4' which also features Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde among others in pivotal roles.
