New Delhi: The much-awaited 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' from the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU)'s release date has been finally announced. In the upcoming film, the boundaries and horizons of the Multiverse will extend further than imagination and audiences will see Doctor Strange navigate the unknown with mystical allies-old and new. A new adversary will also be revealed as Doctor Strange traverses through alternate realities.


According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' will release in India on 6 May 2022. It will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.



Besides the madness, the MCU also released a set of new theatrical posters of the film to keep the audience's excitement brimming.Check out some.




 







Makers also launched a teaser on Wednesday which confirmed the connection with WandaVision. Titled Dream, the teaser shows Benedict Cumberbatch( Doctor Strange) and Elizabeth Olsen( Wanda) reliving similar dreams/nightmares. The teaser also shows Olsen, Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong( Wong) teaming up to fight common enemies from the multiverse.


According to The Verge, this Doctor Strange film is MCU's boldest foray into the world of alternate realities that its other installments like 'Loki' and 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' have begun to explore.


'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Xochitl Gomez,and Michael Stühlbarg. Produced by Kevin Feige, the film is directed by Sam Raimi,and the screenplay is written by Michael Waldron.


Advanced booking of theater tickets for 'Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness' has also been announced before its worldwide release next month.
