Milap Zaveri-directed 'Marjaavaan', featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles, finally hit the theatres this Friday (8th November) and started on a decent note by collecting Rs 7.03 crores on Friday. Also featuring 'Student of The Year 2' fame Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles, 'Marjaavaan' failed to witness a huge jump on Saturday however the film continued doing well in single screen theatres. On second day, the film remained in same range as compared to opening day.

On Saturday, 'Marjaavaan' has collected Rs. 7.21 crores thereby making the grand total to Rs. 14.24 crores. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared Bala’s second day box office collection on Twitter.

He wrote, "#Marjaavaan maintains strong occupancy in mass belt/single screens on Day 2... Metros/multiplexes - average on Day 1 - remain in the same range... Biz should grow on Day 3... Eyes ₹ 22 cr [+/-] weekend... Fri 7.03 cr, Sat 7.21 cr. Total: ₹ 14.24 cr. #India biz."
