Sherawat was assaulted by 3 conceal  masked intruders who, 'without saying a word, splashed their casualties with tear gas before punching them'. The on-screen character

apprently had  arrived at the apartment block on November 11 with a her French businessman lover, Cyrille Auxenfans.

Mallika spoke to a daily  about this episode. She additionally posted a solid message on her informal communication handle saying, "It takes more than 3 masked men to take me down, I am a strong woman."
