New Delhi: Actor & Director Imtiaz Khan, brother of late veteran actor Amjhad Khan, son of late actor Jayant and husband of TV actress Jrutika Desai, is no more. Associated with films like 'Hulchul', 'Pyaara Dost', 'Procession of Memories' and 'Noor Jahan', Imtiaz Khan passed away on March 15 in Mumbai. 77-year-old Imtiaz Khan suffered a heart attack and breathed his last in his Mumbai residence, as per reports.




Imtiaz Khan's actress-wife Krutika Desai, who is known for playing pivotal roles in various popular TV shows including 'Dekh Bhai Dekh', 'Chandrakanta', 'Mere Angne Mein, 'Uttaran', 'Shakti - Asitiva Ke Ehsaas Ki' among others, confirmed the same with ABP News.

Speaking about Imtiaz Khan's last rites, Krutika Told ABP News that the family is waiting for a relative to arrive from Dubai post which they'll take a final call on the cremation ceremony.

Known actress Anju Mahendroo took to her social media account after the news of Imtiaz Khan's demise came out. She posted a picture of her good old days with him. Mourning the death of her friend, she wrote, "Once upon a time!!! Rest in eternal peace my friend@Imtiaz Khan."

Imtiaz is survived by his wife, Krutika and daughter, Ayesha Khan.
