Ektaa Kapoor is reviving the iconic song "Ram Ram" from her acclaimed TV series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for her upcoming film The Sabarmati Report. This updated version, titled "Raja Ram," blends the nostalgia of the original track with a modern cinematic style, appealing to both long-time fans and new audiences.

Kyunku Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Returns

The teaser for the song was recently shared on social media, with the tagline, “This Diwali, Truth will prevail!” This aligns with the film’s theme, which focuses on uncovering deeply buried truths. The teaser also highlights Vikrant Massey as a determined journalist committed to revealing the facts, while Raashii Khanna portrays his passionate colleague. Additionally, viewers catch a glimpse of Ridhi Dogra as an experienced news anchor, contributing to the film's dynamic narrative.

The Sabarmati Report, directed by Dheeraj Sarna, is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan. The film addresses the tragic events of February 27, 2002, when a fire on the Sabarmati Express led to the loss of 59 lives, including pilgrims returning from Ayodhya. This project marks Vikrant’s first collaboration with both Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra, adding an exciting dimension to the cast.

Set to hit theaters on November 15, the film is highly anticipated. In addition to this project, Vikrant has another film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyaan, in the works. He recently appeared in Aditya Nimbalkar’s crime thriller Sector 36, where he shared the screen with Deepak Dobriyal and Akash Khurana. This film was inspired by the infamous Noida serial murders that took place in 2006.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which originally aired from July 3, 2000, to November 6, 2008, is remembered as one of the most beloved Indian soap operas, featuring Smriti Irani in a leading role. The show's legacy continues to influence contemporary Indian television.
