New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan started his career in the Hindi film industry with the 2011 movie ‘Pyar Ka Punchnama’. Hailing from Gwalior, the actor was earlier pursuing an engineering degree while attempting to start a career in Bollywood. Aaryan gained recognition with his famous monologue which still remains to be a hit amongst youngsters. The ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ actor appeared in three films directed by Luv Ranjan and the third film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ proved to be a breakthrough for Kartik and since then, there has been no stopping for the actor as he continues to climb the ladder of success.

According to the latest buzz, Kartik will be next seen portraying the character of an investigative journalist for Ram Madhvani’s untitled next.  A source told SpotboyE, “The entire film unfolds in one media office. There are only 5-6  characters. It is  a very intimate low-budget one-set  film and Kartik accepted  it because he wants to work with directors who can  tap his acting chops, also because  he wants to do  films far removed  from the lightweight comedies he  has  become typecast in.”

The source further revealed that Madhvani’s film could give him a different role that would fetch him awards. “When he met  Ram, Kartik’s only precondition before signing the film was, ‘I want this film to do for me what your Neerja did for Sonam”, added the source.

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’ opposite Sara Ali Khan. He will next be seen starring in ‘Dostana 2’ opposite Janhvi Kapoor, in ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ opposite Kiara Advani and will star in the Hindi remake of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramaloo’ helmed by Rohit Dhawan. The actor also has the sequel of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ lined up as Bhushan Kumar reportedly said that it is a great franchise to take forward.
