Ever since the announcement that both 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Singham Again' would be releasing on Diwali, one of the hottest debates online has been about which film will come out on top in this major box office clash of the year. 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', starring Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri in the lead, along with Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit as Manjulikas, is a horror-comedy. Meanwhile, 'Singham Again', featuring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan, is the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s hit cop universe.

During a promotional event for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', Kartik said, “Diwali itni badi holiday hai. I think do filmein aaram se chal sakti hain. Aur unka 'Singham Again' ka action genre hai, humara horror comedy genre hai.” As a movie enthusiast himself, Kartik shared that he sees two films releasing together in theatres as a festival for audiences, especially at a time when Bollywood releases have become fewer.
He added, “Abhi yahan par Diwali ke time par do aisi filmein aa rahi hain jiska I think audience dono filmon ka besabri se intezaar kar rahi hain. Mujhe unki bhi film pasand hai, main unki bhi film dekhne jaaunga. I hope aap humaari bhi film dekhne jaayein. Aur dono filmein chalne ka bohot scope hai.”
Kartik emphasized that he doesn't view this as a "versus" situation, focusing instead on the 'Rooh Baba vs Manjulika' battle in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. He also mentioned that he's a big fan of Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, and the entire team behind the 'Singham' franchise.
Back in 2022, Kartik made his debut in the horror-comedy genre with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', earning him the title of "janta ka superstar." With his humble response, he's continuing to live up to that title.
