According to an entertainment portal, Sonam was asked on 'Koffee With Karan 5' that if she'd ever date Ranbir Kapoor again, the actress replied in the negative and added, “Ranbir and I’d make better friends. I don’t believe I would keep him happy.”

The DNA report further stated that, 'To this, Ranbir’s first cousin Bebo jumped to reveal that she and her sister Karisma Kapoor is keen that Sonam becomes their Bhabhi.'
