New Delhi: In a shocking turn of events, Tamil actor Sethuraman is no more. The talented actor , who is best for his role in 2013 film 'Kannu Laddu Thinna Aasaiya', passed away due to a cardiac arrest on Thursday (March 26) night at his residence in Chennai. While the whole nation is under lockdown till April 14 due to the novel Coronavirus outbreak, the actor's demise comes a shock to his family, friends and industry.


Dr. Sethuraman, also known as Sethu in the Tamil film industry, is survived by his wife and a child. His colleagues from the film industry took to their social media accounts to mourn his death.

Comedian Santhanam, who was a close friend of Sethuraman, tweeted, "Totally shocked and depressed on the demise of my dear friend Dr.Sethu.. May his soul rest in peace."

Sethuraman was 31 years old and was a part of various films including 'Vaaliba Raja', '50/50' and 'Sakka Podu Podu Raja'.

Apart from acting, Sethuraman was also a dermatologist by profession and was serving full-time at his Chennai-based skincare & cosmetology facility 'Zi Clinic'.
