The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushil' director who once considered Kajol as her lucky mascot wrote in his biography titled 'An Unsuitable Boy': "I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years. I don't think she deserves me. I don't feel for her anymore.”
Till now, Kajol was mum on the fallout but in a recent interview to indianexpress.com, the 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' actress said, “I think relationships are generally difficult, nothing to do with Bollywood.” The actress was reluctant to open up much regarding the ongoing cold war between her and the ace filmmaker, “I wouldn’t like to comment anything on what happened with Karan (Johar),”she said.
The rift surfaced ahead of box-office clash between Dharma Productions' 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and Ajay Devgn's 'Shivaay', when the actor shared a recording of self-proclaimed critic Kamaal Rashid Khan saying that Karan bribed him to write good review about ADHM and criticise 'Shivaay' which Kajol retweeted it saying 'SHOCKING'.
Kajol has worked with Karan in multiple projects including hits “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”, “My Name is Khan” and special appearances in “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna” and “Student of the Year”
