Dubai Police has handed over the Indian Consulate and the family members of Boney Kapoor the letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor.

Reportedly, Boney Kapoor and other family members along with Sridevi's dead body will leave for Mumbai in the next couple of hours.

Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away in her hotel room in the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, at 11pm on Saturday. She was found unconscious in her bathroom and was immediately rushed to Rashid Hospital in Dubai where doctors declared her brought dead.
