Mumbai: Bollywood actor John Abraham is all set to entertain the audience with his much-awaited film ‘Attack’ on the occasion of Republic Day 2022. The ‘Dostana’ star took to social media to announce the release date of ‘Attack’. The action thriller will hit the silver screens on January 26.
‘Attack’ Release Date
John Abraham shared a new poster of the film on his official Instagram handle. he wrote, “A hostage crisis that brought the country to its knees! This time the race is against time, get ready for #Attack. Releasing worldwide on Republic Day 2022!”
The tagline- "A nation builds a super soldier” has captured the attention of the fans. Movie buffs have expressed their excitement by flooding the comments section with their messages.
‘Attack’ Cast
'Attack', which has been directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is based on hostage crisis in India.
John's character will leads an attack team during a counter operation, as per a report in PTI. The 'Dhoom' actor has joined hands with Jayantilal Gada and Ajay Kapoor to produce 'Attack'. The movie was originally slated to release on August 14, 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
John Abraham's Upcoming Films
On the professional front, the 'Batla House' star was last seen in a special guest appearance in 'Sardar Ka Grandson'. He will be next seen in 'Satyameva Jayate 2', which will arrive in the cinema halls on November 26, 2021. The first installment of the franchise emerged as a hit at the box office.
John also has 'Ek Villain Returns' in his kitty. The Mohit Suri directorial, which also stars Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani, will release on July 8, 2022.
All eyes are on YRF's 'Pathan' as John Abraham will be seen sharing screen-space with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the film. Fans are quite excited to see the trio together on the big screen.
