New Delhi: Since its release in theatres, Shah Rukh Khan's movie has been growing in appeal. This week, 'Jawan' will surpass the Rs 450 crore mark at the domestic box office after a fantastic second weekend. According to sacnilk, by Saturday, the film's tenth day since release, it should have earned about Rs 439 crore in India.

According to the most recent figures, 'Jawan' reportedly generated Rs 31 crore in business on its second Saturday. This marks an enormous rise from Thursday's business, which was merely Rs 21 crore. In India, Jawan has grossed a total of Rs 439 crore so far, but on day nine, its global gross came to 700 crore.

SRK hailed the audience for helping to make 'Jawan' a hit during the press conference and mentioned that it took four years to produce.

"Very seldom do we get this opportunity that we get to live so many years with a film. 'Jawan' has been with us for four years because of Covid and time constraints. There were so many people involved in this film, especially people from down south who came and shifted to Mumbai for the last four years, working day and night for this film. A lot of people didn't return to their homes. There are many who had their kids here, like director Atlee. The real heroes and heroines of this film are the technicians who worked hard for the last four years," the actor said.

Alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, Shah Rukh Khan plays a number of roles in the Atlee directed 'Jawan'. Supporting cast members included Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra, Yogi Babu, and Eijaz Khan. Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone, two actors, made cameo appearances in the movie. The film released in theatres on September 7.
