Mumbai: 'Jalebi' which marks the Bollywood debut of 'Veera' fame TV actress Digangana Suryavanshi who was also seen in 'Bigg Boss 9' and the Amazon Kindle-Advertisement fame Varun Mitra, is releasing on October 12th and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt along with these two lead stars along with Rhea Chakraborty, shared the first poster of the film today. The poster features Rhea and Varun sharing a bold-passionate kiss on a railways station while the former wearing a dungaree is bent over the window of a stationary train and the latter is standing on the platform. The two commuters seated inside the bogie are looking at them in amazement. Bhatt says 'Jalebi- The Everlasting Taste Of Love' tells a story about how to live in an age of bewilderment.


The makers had released the motion poster of the film earlier, in July, which had a female and a male hand parting away with one inside a moving train and the other outside.


And now the first official poster of the film portraying the complete opposite has got us more interested to know what actually goes in-between these two moments.

Sharing the first poster, Mahesh Bhatt wrote on Twitter - "In this changing shifting world where the old stories have collapsed and no new story has yet emerged to replace them comes a story of everlasting love. Here is the . ."

Earlier this year in March, Digangana along with Rhea and Varun started the shoot of the film and everyone including Mahesh Bhatt shared the pictures posing together when the cast was finalised, ahead of the commencement of the shoot[PICS: ‘Veera’ actress Digangana Suryavanshi bags role in Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘Jalebi’!].


'Jalebi' is written by Kausar Munir and directed by Pushpadeep Bharadwaj.

Backed by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt's production house Vishesh Films, the film is scheduled to release on October 12.
