After his action thriller ‘Raees’ which was released earlier this year, the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is back with what he is best at, a romantic drama ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal‘ that hits the theatre this Friday.

Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma's Punjabi-Gujarati camaraderie makes it worth watch

And my first reaction after watching the film is that SRK returns back to his conventional lover boy image which is actually the essence of this movie.

The film brings together Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma for the third time after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

By far from the trailers and promotions it’s been revealed that the movie revolves around Anushka’s lost engagement ring and her quest to find it as Shah Rukh Khan, who plays a guide, joins her in the search.

STORY: Harry (Shah Rukh Khan) is a lonely tourist guide in Europe who seeks true love meets Sejal Zhaveri (Anuhska Sharma) a diamond merchant's daughter who missed her flight to India in order to search her lost engagement ring and hires Harry to be with her till the time she finds the ring. A search for Sejal's engagement ring makes Harry understand true love and eventually falls for Sejal who too experiences self-discovery in Harry's company. So do they get what they are looking for?

MUSIC: Pritam has done a great job in the music department and so does Irshad Kamil with his poetic lines by, 'Haawaien' is undoubtedly the best track and surely scores the brownie point.

As expected, Shah Rukh Khan manages to swoon the ladies in every frame he appears in and once again proves why he is called the King of Romance in Bollywood. In one of the scene he admits his womanizing tendencies & even brags about his cheating skills but that you will fall in love more with his character.

Advance booking of Shah Rukh-Anushka starrer ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ opens big!

SRK aces as a Punjabi tough guy and his accent looks so natural and brings smile to our faces when he cracks joke with it in few opening scenes. The 'Baadshah' of Bollywood is like an old wine, who just gets better as he matures and his crackling chemistry with Anushka Sharma also gets a thumbs up from fans as well!

A scene from 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'

Anushka Sharma as a young, chirpy lawyer looking for a lost engagement ring looks okay with her heavy Gujarati accent which she forgets in the second half! Sejal is a kind of girl who gets offended when a guy tags her as "nice, sweet and sister type" and leaves no stones unturned in proving him wrong by wearing shorts and entering a bad ass night-club at her own risk.

The movie is shot in the beautiful locations of Europe and in quest of Sejal's ring she & Harry makes audience see the breathtaking views of Prague, Berlin, Netherlands , Amsterdam and it's actually the scenic beauty that keeps you hooked as the plot weakens in the second half.

'Jab Harry Met Sejal' is a typical Bollywood movie that even has it lead actors dancing in sarso ke khet by the end.

After the interval it gets too boring to see the leading stars looking out for the ring and also looks obvious in many scenes. By the end the film is too predictable and if you have watched Imitiaz Ali's movie before you exactly know what's gonna happen next and somewhere it looks like a cocktail of 'Jab We Met' & 'Love Aajkal'.

VIDEO: SRK sings “Tu lagawe lu jab lipstick” for Anushka Sharma making Varanasi crowds crazy!

The movie is definitely good in bits and parts and if you are a Shah Rukh Khan then you just can't miss this one.
