New Delhi: The crime drama 'Drishyam 2' with Ajay Devgn and Tabu is receiving positive reviews from all corners. After the film impressed them, fans of the movie series are awaiting the following installments. The director of the sequel, Abhishek Pathak, has said 'Drishyam 3' would be made because there is a demand for it.


In a recent interview with ETimes, the filmmaker mentioned that after the crew has some downtime, he will consider what the team will do in the next part.


"People are excited, so they are going to make theories on part 3 and 4. But we're just about to close our first week now. For sure there's a demand for part 3, and it shall happen, but we are just happy to be crossing the 100-crore number at the moment. Once we have some time off, we will think about what we're going to do in the next part but as of now we're just enjoying every bit of feedback that we're getting," he said. 


'Drishyam 2' opened to a domestic box office total of Rs. 15.38 crore. Within seven days of its theatrical release, the movie entered the Rs 100 crore club and is now performing strongly at the box office.






The crime drama 'Drishyam 2' is a sequel the 2015 hit film 'Drishyam', which is the Hindi adaptation to the original Malayalam film of the same name, starring Mohanlal. The movie stars Shriya Saran, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, and Akshaye Khanna in addition to Ajay Devgn. The follow-up continues the narrative of Ajay's Vijay Salgoankar and his family, which includes wife Nandini (Shriya) and daughters Anju (Ishita) and Anu (Mrunal Jadhav).
