New Delhi: Ishaan Khatter took to social media to share the first sneak peek of his much-awaited series ‘A Suitable Boy’. The trailer for BBC’s TV adaptation of Vikram Seth’s critically acclaimed novel has received a good response on social media. It stars Ishaan Khatter, Tabu, Ram Kapoor, Rasika Dugal and Tanya Maniktala in key roles.

The story, which set in newly independent India, focuses on four families. Ishaan Khatter, who was last seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in ‘Dhadak’, is playing the role of Maan Kaapoor. Maan is one of the suitors for Mrs Rupa Mehra’s daughter Lata.

Ishaan shared the video along with the caption, “A first sneak peak into the world of #ASuitableBoy @bbc: Love will push you beyond your boundaries. Based on the best-selling novel, A Suitable Boy starts 26th July on BBC One and @BBCiPlayer.” Check it out!

Tabu and Ishaan Khatter’s sizzling chemistry in the trailer of ‘A Suitable Boy’ will make you super excited for the series. The video gave the fans a small glimpse of the much-talked about kissing scene between the two talented actors.

Ishaan had shared the first look of 'A Suitable Boy' last year in December.



The Mira Nair directorial has managed to create anticipation among the audience. It will premiere on July 26. Ishaan Khatter is working with the ‘Monsoon Wedding’ director for the first time in his career. Tabu and Mira collaborated for the film ‘The Namsake’ in 2006. The makers have shot for the drama mini-series in Lucknow.



On the professional front, Ishaan Khatter also has 'Khaali Peeli' in his kitty. The action drama also stars Ananya Panday.
