New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who made his debut with ‘Saat Hindustani’ in 1969, completed 50 successful years in Bollywood on November 7. Big B is still considered as one of the most bankable actors in the industry. Not only movies, Amitabh has also proved his mettle as the host of popular reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’.

Senior Bachchan, who is currently in Manali for the shoot of ‘Brahmastra’, wrote in his personal Tumblr blog that his body is giving him signals to retire. The ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ actor expressed the same after a 12-hour long car ride.

He wrote, ‘’ Tranquil essence of the freshness. the winter feel, the purity hopefully of the air .. and a rest after 5am to now. there is great humility and joy of felicitations en route. the simplicity of the smaller town reigns supreme. as does the generous hospitality. we can never match their honesty and simplicity. thank you all those stop overs on the way here. a ride of almost 12 hours by car on roads under repair and roads of great smoothness and finesse.’’

‘’Another new environ and another readjustment to room and its accoutrements. I must retire. the head is thinking something else and the fingers another. its a message,’’ Big B added.

Amitabh Bachchan's cryptic post has left the fans thinking if he is planning to retire.

Amitabh was admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati hospital last month after a health scare. After getting discharged, the 'Paa' actor resumed shooting for 'KBC 11', which will air its last episode today (November 29).

The 'Shahenshah' of Bollywood performed at Gateway Of India on Tuesday (November 26) at an event held to honour the martyrs of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan also attended the event.
