Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan, who is often called as "Mr. Perfectionist", says he doesn't believe in the title and says instead he should be called "Mr. Passionate" instead.


Asked if his title gives him any pressure, Aamir told reporters in a group interview here: "It puts no pressure on me because I don't believe in the title only. So the title is an inaccurate title. So, it puts not pressure on me."

Aamir, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, "Dangal" directed by Nitesh Tiwari, says the correct title for him would be "Mr. Passionate" because "that is what I am".

The 51-year-old star says perfection according to him doesn't exist in a creative field, where people have a myriad of ideas and opinions.

"Perfection according to me doesn't exist. There is not such thing as perfection and certainly not in the creative field... I am a passionate person," he said.

"Dangal" is a biographical sports drama film directed by Tiwari, who previously helmed popular films like "Chillar Party" and "Bhootnath Returns".

The film features Aamir portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.

He will be seen playing both younger and older characters of Phogat in the film, and he had put on weight up to 95 kg to play the older part and is currently in the process of bringing it down to around 70 kg.
