According to a report published in SpotboyE Hrithik requested Bhatt to meet him in his hour of crisis. The meeting took place at Hrithik's Juhu house.

In-fact Mahesh Bhatt himself confirmed the news to the entertainment portal and said, "Well, I think Hrithik has been talking to a lot of people. Frankly, I don't happen to know him personally or professionally. I only know him cordially as he happens to be an industry star and Rakesh Roshan's son. But yes, I did meet him as he wanted to seek my wisdom on how he should handle this delicate situation he finds himself in."

Bhatt added that Hrithik told him everything about the ongoing tussle, "Well, he gave me a blow-by-blow account which is also in the media. And I must say that he was very keen that this painful, dark and embarrassing chapter of his life comes to and end."
Alia's daddy said that "I told him that such stories will have three sections of answers- favouring him, against him or being indifferent to him. The end result would depend on what the majority of people feel towards him, which they will decide looking at the data that's floating outside."

On an answer to whether Hrithik ask for Bhatt's intervention to ask Kangana to come to a truce? Mahesh Bhatt told, "No, he only asked if there 's any way that this can be resolved and I told him that both of you have a very clear stand, so let a non-industry neutral body sit and come to a conclusion else you'll not get a sense of finish."
"Based on what he showed and told me, what meets the eye is something very tragic, the picture that emerges before my eyes has the making of a tragedy."
Added Bhatt, "The I-know-it-all types are perhaps not aware of another angle to this story which may have still been unreported."
"As for Kangana, she started off from my camp (Woh Lamhe) and I have always wished well for her. She is very passionate about her work," Bhatt emphasised.
Both are superb actors and very important members of the film industry. This tough time too shall pass, Bhatt concluded.
