New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who was last seen in the multi-starrer ‘Housefull 4’, is currently busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Good Newwz’. The ‘Mission Mangal’ actor recently promoted the comedy drama on the sets of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and brought home a ‘present’ for his wife Twinkle Khanna.


Akshay Kumar gave his lovely wife onion earrings and in case you are thinking Mrs Funny Bones was upset with the present, we have to stop you right there. The ‘Mela’ actress said that Akshay’s gesture touched her heart.

“My partner returns from performing at the Kapil Sharma show and says, ‘They were showing this to Kareena, I don’t think she was too impressed, but I knew you would enjoy them so I got them for you.’ Sometimes it’s the smallest things, the silliest things that can touch your heart. #onionearrings #bestpresentaward,” Twinkle wrote while sharing a picture of the onion earrings on Instagram.

A few days back Twinkle shared a throwback picture of her hubby and revealed why she never asks him to make coffee for her. The ‘PadMan’ actor can be seen holding a cup of dark coffee in his hand in the photo.

Twinkle captioned her post as, "Writers need caffeine almost as much as pencils require graphite:) But..this is the reason why I have never asked him to make a cup of coffee for me again! #throwback #writerswoes."


Talking about Akshay Kumar, the actor is gearing up for the release of ‘Good Newwz’. The film co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani will hit the silver screens on December 27.
