New Delhi:  Entire country is soaked with the fervour of Independence Day and so is our social media. From B-town celebs to sports stars, everybody kept social media abuzz with their I-Day greetings. Here are your favourite celebrities and their wishes on Independence Day

While the Big B Amitabh Bachchan posted his picture saluting the national flag with the caption ''Jai Hind'', Shah Rukh Khan wished all of ''us'' a happy Independence Day. Here are their tweets.

 


 



Actress Priyanka Chopra who is busy with  her Hollywood career, never fails to display her Indian spirit. She posted her picture with a tricolour dupatta and wrote that her heart belongs to India.


Veteran actor Anupam Kher posted a picture of tricoloured candies, wishing everybody a happy Independence Day, followed by a 'Jai Hind'

 



Shabana Azmi paid homage to the freedom fighters on the occasion and wrote:  ''With Freedom must come responsibility. Rights and duties. I salute all those who paved the way so we can walk freely. Yaum e azadi zindabad.''

Acknowledging the sacrifice Indian soldiers, actor Varun Dhawan shared his video with them. He is seen singing the song ''sandese aate hain'' along with the soldiers.
