'Bhavesh Joshi' is being helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane whose last release 'Trapped' was a critically acclaimed movie. According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, Motwane in an interview said, “I am very happy with Harshvardhan’s work. I am glad I made this movie with him. It’s a vigilante film and he has done complete justice to the script.” Talking about the film, he said, “It’s (film) shaping up really well and I am happy with the way it has turned out so far. It’s been one of my most exciting films I have worked on”.

Earlier, there were reports that Sidharth Malhotra and Imran Khan have been approached for the film but the Bollywood newbie managed to grab it.
