New Delhi: Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi attended PM Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony in New Delhi on May 30. The actor, who played the role of PM Modi in his biopic ‘PM Narendra Modi’, couldn’t control his excitement on being part of the ceremony. Vivek shared a picture with PM Modi along with the tweet which had the word ‘Bharat’.

The ‘Saathiya’ actor used the hashtag ‘Bharat’ which has Salman Khan’s emoji in his tweet. Obeori accidentally ended up promoting Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’.

Twitterati pointed out that the actor had promoted Salman Khan’s film. Realizing his mistake, Vivek deleted the tweet and posted another one on the micro-blogging site.

Interestingly, this is not the first time; Vivek Oberoi has promoted Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’. The ‘Krrish 3’ actor, while taking a dig at the Opposition after the Lok Sabha Election 2019 results, had used the #hashtag ‘Bharat’.

Vivek Oberoi grabbed headlines after he shared an insensitive meme on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan. He was trolled mercilessly on social media and even received a notice by the National Commission for Women.

Talking about ‘PM Narendra Modi’, the film directed by Omung Kumar has minted Rs 19.21 crore at the box office till Thursday.


Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of ‘Bharat’. The film co-starring Katrina Kaif will hit the silver screens on Eid.
