Karan Johar produced 'Good Newwz', featuring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles, is setting the box-office on first ever since the film hit the theatres on last Friday (27th December). The film took a positive start and collected Rs. Rs. Rs 17.56 crore on first day post which 'Good Newwz' witnessed an impressive jump and fetched  Rs. 21.78 crore on Saturday. Directed by Raj Mehta, 'Good Newwz' has set the cash registers ringing in the first weekend by scoring big jump on Sunday as well.


Despite facing competition from Salman Khan's last week release 'Dabangg 3', 'Good Newwz' collected a huge Rs. 26.65 crore thereby making the grand total to Rs. 65.99 crore in the first weekend.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the fulm's second day box office collection on Twitter. He wrote, "#GoodNewwz sets BO on 🔥🔥🔥 on Day 3... Biz jumps across most circuits... Some circuits - average on Day 1 and 2 - score big on Day 3... North sectors terrific... Multiplexes driving its biz... Fri 17.56 cr, Sat 21.78 cr, Sun 26.65 cr. Total: ₹ 65.99 cr. #India biz."

'Good Newwz', which is about the tryst of two couple with IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation), has been produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. The film is witnessing fantastic growth at the box office and is expected to continue the momentum in coming days.
