Ex-contestant of Bigg Boss, Kamal Rashid Khan's mother has passed away at the age of 78. He twitted in the early hours of Wednesday morning stating, 'With my deepest sorrow, I announce the passing of my beloved Mother to her heavenly abode. She peacefully passed just a few hours ago at the age of 78 Years. I humbly request you to remember her in your prayers. #RIP.'


KRK has always been in controversy for his derogatory remarks. During Indian General Elections 2014, he tweeted that he will leave India if Narendra Modi becomes prime minister of India. On 18 May 2014, he posted a fabricated screenshot of that tweet replacing his name with that of Shahrukh Khan. This sparked controversy as some media outlets didn't investigate and credited the tweet to Shahrukh Khan.

Another controversial tweet, which got the man savagely trolled by the Twitterati was, on the occasion of Mother’s Day 2017, Kamaal R Khan shared quite a ballsy tweet along with a picture of a mother-son duo on his micro-blogging account. KRK revealed how his mother wanted to poison him but now is proud of her son. In a series of tweets, he wished Happy Mother’s Day but 'his mother wanting to poison him'.

KRK became the first contestant to be prematurely kicked out from the Big Boss house because of his violent behaviour towards other housemates.

Khan started his career in Bollywood as a producer and actor with the film Deshdrohi in 2008. He also appeared in a small role in Ek Villain.
