Total: ₹ 93.40 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice. #Fighter needs to go past Sat numbers on the decisive Sun, the final day of *extended weekend*… This will be possible if mass pockets witness a spike, complimenting the biz from urban centres.”
As per our in-house review, 'Fighter' "picks up momentum and becomes more engaging in the second half after a slowly moving first half. It only really picks up and heads toward a riveting climax in the last twenty minutes or so. The war drama, however, is an aesthetic marvel and a spectacular extravaganza courtesy of its phenomenal air combat scenes and exceptional cinematography."
‘Fighter’ is Siddharth Anand’s another successful outing after Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrrer ‘Pathaan’ which broke several box office records last year.
Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ is a about Squadron leader Shamsher Pathania ( Hrithik Roshan), Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone) and Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Anil Kapoor), and their attempts to counter Pakistani air-strikes in the northern Kashmir region.
The group and other members belong to teh elite branch of Indian Air Force.
