New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's highly anticipated film, 'Fighter,' directed by Siddharth Anand, has soared high in the skies of advance booking collections, earning a remarkable 3.6 crores on its opening day, just two days ahead of its release on January 25.

Produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, the film is slated to release on Republic Day eve, showcasing a gripping narrative about the Indian Air Force in a strike mission.

Advance Booking Report:

'Fighter' has created a buzz with a staggering 93,735 tickets sold for its opening day through advance bookings, totaling 1,13,110 tickets across India, reported industry tracker Sacnilk. Leading the charts in advance bookings are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Delhi, representing a nationwide anticipation for this star-studded venture.

Worldwide Ticket Sales:

The film has not only captivated the Indian audience but has also recorded significant numbers globally. In the US and Canada, 'Fighter' has crossed $300K in advance bookings, poised to surpass Hrithik Roshan's previous records set by films like Vikram Vedha and War. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh remarked on the film's overseas success, tweeting, "Fighter overseas advance booking: Best in USA/Canada. Pre-sales has crossed $300K. Will comfortably overtake Hrithik Roshan’s recent openings Vikram Vedha ($370K) and War ($311K) in the advance booking stage only…"

Fighter serves as a tribute to the sacrifice and patriotism of the Indian armed forces, unfolding the story of the Air Dragons, a new elite unit commissioned to counter militant activities in the Srinagar Valley.

As part of the film's promotional campaign, Hrithik Roshan and co-star Anil Kapoor paid tribute to real-life heroes by visiting the Pune Air Force station. The realistic patriotic narrative in the promotional activities seems to be going well for the Siddharth Anand directorial.

The film features Hrithik Roshan as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Patty), Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Minni), and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Rocky). Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover also join the stellar cast.
