New Delhi: Sajjad Ali, a Pakistani singer, posts a video stating that 'Pathaan's song Besharam Rang reminds him of an old song in the midst of the ongoing controversy around the track. After recently listening to a new song, the singer posted a clip of himself singing his song, Ab Ke Hum Bichare, on Instagram last week.
Fans noticed similarities between the singer's song and the latest track from 'Pathaan' despite the vocalist not mentioning the name of the song, Besharam Rang.
"I was listening to music on YouTube from some new films. I was reminded of one of my old songs from 25-26 years ago. Let me sing it for you," Sajjad says in Hindi as the video starts.
"After listening to a new movie’s song, It reminded me of my song I released 26 years ago, Ab Ke Hum Bichare. Enjoy!!" the caption of his post read.

Besharam Rang, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, has encountered issues ever since the song's premiere. A scene from the song with Deepika Padukone wearing an orange bikini sparked outrage across India for allegedly offending religious sensibilities. The censor board has now ordered the film's makers to make some "changes," including to the songs.
The movie is slated to premiere on January 25. Shah Rukh, who will play a gun-toting spy with a licence to kill, is joined by John Abraham in the action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand.
