New Delhi: Ardent fans of the franchise ‘Star Wars’ celebrate May 4 every year as Star Wars Day. For the uninitiated, the date was chosen for the pun on the popular catchphrase - ‘May the Force be with you’ as ‘May the Fourth be with you’. Although, the holiday was never declared by Lucasfilm, die-hard fans of the popular franchise celebrate it every year without fail.

Several fans shared memes, quotes, dialogues from Star Wars’ films and series to express their love for the evergreen franchise. The official Instagram handle of Star Wars also posted a video along with the caption, “Celebrating May the 4th in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. “We had each other, that's how we won."
