New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ has been making waves ever since the first trailer was unveiled by the makers. The film co-starring Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawal has finally hit the silver screens on Friday (February 1). The Shelly Chopra Dhar directorial has managed to receive a positive feedback from the Bollywood celebs. Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan, Karan Johar, Twinkle Khanna, Rakul Preet and other tinsel town celebs have applauded the film for its storyline.


Akshay Kumar, who worked with Sonam Kapoor in R Balki’s ‘PadMan’, took to Twitter, to praise the star cast for their performance. The ‘Kesari’ actor called ‘Ek Ladki Ko..’ a brilliant film. Check out his tweet!

Bollywood choreographer and director Farah Khan appreciated 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga' for dealing with the subject of homosexuality with dignity.


Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar also praised 'Ek Ladki Ko..' and called it a beautiful and heartfelt.


Twinkle Khanna gave the film a thumbs up and said that the romantic drama was both funny and relevant. '' A wonderful movie that stays with you #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga is both relevant and funny. @sonamakapoor is absolutely lovely and @iam_juhi you cracked me up-we have a cousin who speaks exactly like you do in the movie! Folks go watch it !,'' Khanna wrote on Twitter.


Rakul Preet, who will be next seen in 'De De Pyaar De' opposite Ajay Devgn, also appreciated the film for handling the subject so beautifully.
