Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, known for his power-packed performances in films, left for his heavenly abode on April 29, 2020. The 'Piku' star's untimely demise left the entire film industry and fans in a state of shock. Several tinsel town celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone mourned his death on social media. On the occasion of Diwali, Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar remembered the late actor and shared a throwback photo on her Instagram handle.

Sutapa went down the memory lane and recalled the time when Irrfan fed their kids. She posted an unseen photo in which the 'Paan Singh Tomar' actor can be seen feeding their son. Sutapa wished everyone Happy Children's Day and Diwali 2020 while sharing the snap on social media.

"Diwali Ages ago when baba had to feed them and he has fed them right things to now walk alone. irrfan may you shine upon them always from the world of stars #Happychildren'sday#happydiwali," Sutapa wrote in her emotional post.



Irrfan Kha, who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, succumbed to colon infection in April 29. He is survived by his wife and two sons Babil and Ayaan. Both Sutapa and Babil keep on sharing throwback gems of the talented actor.

Babil recently posted a photo of his parents along with the caption, "t’s true, time does indeed slow down in the spaces between your breaths. And once you’ve dreamed of more, how could you settle for less. Perhaps, it was over because you knew. Or perhaps, because I grew. But the sky isn’t so blue, When the sun is setting over you."

On the professional front, Irrfan was last seen in 'Angrezi Medium'. The film couldn't enjoy a long run at the box office as the cinema halls were shut due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The comedy drama, which is the sequel to 'Hindi Medium', also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan and Dimple Kapadia in key roles.
