New Delhi: Veteran actress and Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu, in an exclusive talk with ABP News, spoke about how she and her husband are living under the threat of builder Samir Bhojwani, who was arrested for usurping their Pali Hill bungalow in Mumbai. The ‘Junglee’ actress on Sunday had requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to meet her during his visit to Mumbai.

"Request from Saira Banu Khan: The Hon'ble PMO India, Shri Narendra Modi sir, land mafia Samir Bhojwani released from jail. No action taken despite assurances by (Maharashtra) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Padma Vibhushit betrayed, threatened by money and muscle power. Request meeting with you in Mumbai,’’ a tweet from Dilip Kumar’s Twitter account read.

Saira Banu, while talking to ABP News reporter Joyeeta Mitra, said that she wanted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the matter. The ‘Purab Aur Paschim’ actress also said that she was looking to Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who love Dilip Kumar, to stand by him and support them in the property case.

Last year, Saira Banu had complained that Samir Bhojwani, on the basis of fabricated and forged documents, claimed to be the owner of their bungalow. The Economic Offences Wing of the Mumbai Police had registered a case of cheating against him after Banu’s complaint.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has taken note of the issue raised by Saira Banu, according to a news agency.

‘’Prime Minister's Office has taken note of veteran actor Dilip Kumar's tweet alleging threat from one builder (Samir Bhojwani)," the official told ANI.

The official also informed the news agency that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured assistance in this matter.
