Dilip Kumar Death: Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was hospitalised on June 30 after reportedly complaining of breathlessness, breathed his last on Wednesday morning at 7:30 AM.

Dilip Kumar was buried with full state honours at Juhu's cemetery on Wednesday evening. The likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Subhash Ghai and Nikhil Dwivedi attended hus funeral.

The legendary actor's last rites will be done in Mumbai at 5pm. He will be cremated in Juhu. Before his funeral, Dilip Kumar's body was taken to his home. He will be taken from the hospital to his Pali Hill house.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed grief on veteran actor Dilip Kumar's demise. "His demise is monumental loss to the Indian cinema," the union minister said in a tweet.

Known as the 'Tragedy King' of Bollywood, the veteran actor's career spanned over six decades. Dilip Kumar has acted in over 65 films in his career.

Dilip Kumar's wife, actress Saira Banu Khan had issued a statement late on Monday updating about his health. The statement issued on Dilip Kumar's Twitter account, reads: "We are grateful for God's infinite mercy on Dilip Sahib that his health is improving. We are still in hospital and request your prayers and duas so that Insha'Allah he is healthy and discharged soon. Saira Banu Khan."
