Mumbai: Harshvardhan Rane, who is basking in the success of ‘Haseen Dillruba’, is all set to work in a new film, which will be produced by John Abraham. He will be seen in the movie titled ‘Tara Vs Bilal’ that will be bankrolled by John’s production house.  


Did you know Harshvardhan delivered a helmet to John Abraham while he worked as a courier boy? Rane went down the memory lane and recalled one of his meetings with the ‘Dostana’ actor in 2004.

The ‘Taish’ actor, while speaking to Navbharat Times, revealed that he had delivered the helmet to Abraham when he used to work as a delivery boy. Rane said that he met the ‘Dhoom’ star when he was delivering things and had ‘oil in his hair’ and ‘pimples on his face’.  


Harshvardhan further told the daily that he still addresses John as ‘sir’ even though the 'Jism' actor has asked him not to do so.  He added that he still feels nervous in front of the 'Batla House' actor.


The 'Sanam Teri Kasam' actor has managed to earn critical acclaim for his performance in Taapsee Pannu starrer 'Haseen Dillruba'. The premiered directly on Netflix on July 2, 2021. Rane was seen as Neel Tripathi in the romantic mystery thriller, which received mixed reviews from the critics.


John Abraham's Upcoming Films


On the professional front, John will be next seen in 'Satyameva Jayate 2'. The action drama was slated to hit the silver screens on Eid 2021; however, the makers postponed the release in the wake of the second wave of COVID-19 in India.

Abraham also has 'Attack', 'Ek Villian Returns' and 'Pathan' in his kitty. He will be seen playing a negative role in YRF's 'Pathan', which will mark the return of Shah Rukh Khan to the big screen after four long years. The much-awaited flick also stars Deepika Padukone.
