After the success of the first three installments of the Dhoom series featuring John Abraham in lead in 'Dhoom', Hrithik Roshan in 'Dhoom 2' and Aamir Khan in 'Dhoom 3', the fourth installment made a huge buzz when Salman Khan was touted to play the lead role in it. However later he walked out of the YRF series and Abhishek Bachchan was speculated to be the reason who has been playing the important role of ACP Jai Dixit in all these films. Salman and Abhishek share a history since the latter is now married to Salman's ex girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Well, it is now revealed Abhishek wasn't the reason for Salman having refused to the movie. According to some latest reports, in a recent interview Salman revealed that he did not want to play villain on-screen.
The 'Bharat's star further elaborated that masses blindly follow their heroes and judge them by their antics on screen. Therefore, he wants to be responsible enough and give a good message to his fans. He further explained that he does not want people to blindly copy him and indulge in wrongdoings.
Athough a Mumbai daily had reported that although, his character will be on the same lines as Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan's, he won't be playing an out and out negative role. It also stated that Salman will be seen sporting long hair for the part and will also have a scar on his face.
Salman is now packed with his projects lying ahead which include 'Bharat' starring Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani, reality show 'Bigg Boss 12' and upcoming 'Dabangg 3'.
